The Priority Pass membership is a standard perk these days for premium credit cards. It grants you access to Priority Pass’ network of lounges (and even some restaurants, where you get a free set tab) located all over the world. Not all Priority Pass lounges are created equal, but thanks to sites like Lounge Buddy you can vet a lounge before travel.
Priority Pass memberships (with varying levels of free access) come with all the following credit cards:
- Chase Sapphire Reserve
- Citi Prestige
- American Express Platinum
- American Express Business Platinum
- Chase Ritz-Carlton Card
- U.S. Bank Altitude Reserve
- Hilton Honors Ascend from American Express
- Hilton Honors Aspire from American Express
- City National Bank Visa Infinite
- Barclaycard Gold
- Barclaycard Black
Credit Card links have been removed from posts and added to the menu bar at the top of every page of MileValue under the heading Top Credit Cards.
All Priority Pass lounges require that you show proof of your membership, either by physical card or digital card, for entry to the lounge (or free bill at the restaurant). Most cardholders can now access the digital membership card through the Priority Pass app, but not all. Chase cardholders just gained that privilege in November of last year.

I’m not sure whether City National Bank or Barclaycard customers can access a digital membership card for their Priority Passes. If anyone knows, please advise in the comments and I’ll update the post.
How to Add Your Priority Pass Digital Card to Your Phone
Below are steps to putting the digital membership card on your phone so you don’t have to keep another card in your wallet. It’s important to note that, while most do, not all lounges accept the digital card. Check on Priority Pass’ website, in the description of the lounge you wish to visit, to see if it accepts the digital card.
Step 1: Download the Priority Pass app.
Step 2: Click Login
Step 3: Click Register here
Step 4: Enter your membership number.
If you lost or do not have your physical card with you and are on the verge of travel, hence wanting to acquire the digital card, you can call your issuing bank and they should be able to give you your membership number.
Step 5: Enter your pin number
You received your PIN in the original letter from Priority Pass along with your physical card. If you don’t know it, call Priority Pass (800-352-2834 in the US, Mexico, or Canada, otherwise 1-972-735-0536), give them your membership number, and they should be able to tell your PIN.
Step 6: Fill in the personal details on the final screen…
…and voila! You have your digital membership card.
Bottom Line
If you’re reading this blog, chances are you have various credit cards in your wallet. Lighten your load by taking out that Priority Pass card and adding the digital version of the card to your phone.
Then use it to take a nap in one these cool nap pods at the Sleep n’ Fly in Dubai (DXB)
